Something to consider for all of us as we age:
12 Things to Do While I Still Can
Shred every single paper I don't legally need anymore.
Write names on the back of every old photo.
Put all my passwords in one notebook, and tell my kids exactly where it is.
Ask each kid what they actually want from the house, and believe their answer.
Give away the good china while someone can still enjoy it.
Label every box with what's really inside it.
Empty the garage one shelf at a time, every week.
Turn all my old home videos into digital files.
Keep one folder with every important document.
Donate clothes I haven't touched since 2015.
Tell them the stories behind the things that are actually worth keeping.
Let go now, while it's still my choice and not their burden.
